Vaanya Ch-7 To go or not to go

 It was 1 by the time we came out of Mrs.Suzy's microbiology class. Ess took me to the canteen and bought two large expresso which I could never finish. Babe! Ronan is really sorry for not making it to the date. I know that his not showing up made you really upset but he's my favourite cousin and I know that something really important must have come up, otherwise he's a really responsible person, said Essie choosing her words carefully.

Hmm, if you say so Essie !

He really wants to apologize to you Celli! You will give him a second chance, won't you? 

I don't know Ess! I don't think I'm even ready for a relationship yet! Only if the guy is Aisl I thought to myself and sighed

As if to save me from answering Ess's burning questions, my phone bleeped. "Please report to the theatre by 1:15: College Drama Community" the message read. Oh crap! I have to deal with this too today, I shouted throwing up my hands in the air. 

Finish that coffee and it'll give you the strength to solve any problem said Celli, handing over the expresso mug  that looked more like an art piece than a drinking utensil.

The only solution I could think of was smacking the mug on the problems head. I gulped the expresso without even tasting it and nearly choked on it.Coffee gives me anxiety and sleepless nights but  who knows if I could survive till night after meeting Mr.Holmes.

The theatre room's door seemed to be locked from inside. "I could  use this as an excuse", I smiled to myself and turned back to escape.

 I'm not that scary Vaanya! some call me man of their dreams too. Florel was facing me and had the biggest grin on his face. With his left hand on the door knob, he was gesturing me to get inside as if it was his home and I was a guest he had been waiting for since morning. 

"Well I will get inside if you drop the name Vaanya and call me Celeste", I told him locking my eyes into his. 

What a beautiful name you have! I could as well replace Vaanya with Celeste as the title of my book", he said laughing again.

"Are you always flying on cloud nine? I've never seen a happier man in my life!", I told him with an annoyed look.

" It's been about a week  that I've been in a pure bliss Celli!", he winked at me as he closed the door behind us.

Vaanya Chapter 6- Dear Universe! What are you hinting at?

 My eyes widened in disbelief and just to be sure that I wasn't dreaming I pinched Ella's arms . She cried in pain and gave her "what was that for" look. Bursting my bubble of thoughts Mr Koay introduced us to the new  head of the college drama community. This is Mr Florel Holmes, you may as well call him Mr. Holmes. Essie  was already extending her hands to greet Mr. Mysterious, completely drooling over his magnetic personality. "So you share the genes with Sherlock? no wonder you  emit detective vibes Mr.Holmes" I said satirically. Essie and Mr.Koay gave eachother baffling looks while Florel gave his iconic smile making me weak at my knees again.

Come back to your senses Celeste! you are not supposed to feel this way, I thought to myself.  We are getting late for the lecture Mr.Koay, we'll talk to Mr.Florel in the afternoon, I said as I hurridly grabbed Ella's denim jacket dragging her  towards the corridor. I'll be in the college theater this afternoon Vanya, said the now familiar alluring voice. Oh! I thought you were omnipresent Mr. Stalker, I shouted as we ran towards the lecture hall. I threw open the lecture hall door and banged it shut behind us. Ella was gasping for air from all the running while I peeked out of the window to make sure we were not followed. 

"What on earth was that Celli?" Who is that dashing man? and how do you know him? Who is Vaanya? Oh! I so regret not being single she said and looked at me with her puppy eyes. 

Based on the way you were staring at him moments ago you might as well become single soon Ess, I teased her.

She giggled and stopped midway as if she remembered something. Don't change the topic! How do you know him? 

I know him just as much as you do. Don't fall for his beautiful face sweetie, he's a stalker! 

Oh common Celli, I would never buy that! He looks like someone who jumped straight out of a fashion magazine. I think it's you who's stalking him, she winked and laughed hysterically. 

Just then, there was a soft knock on the door and somebody  requested us to open it. My heart started pounding. As Essie turned the knob and pulled it I softly patted my heart to pacify it. "Hey there! umm I was told there was no lecture today in this hall so I'm supposed to lock it, mumbled Aisl. Aisl is the vice president of the college student council, a real sweetheart who is actually  the inspiration for the male protagonist in my story, the one I wrote for the drama competition. Rumors are that Aisl has been crushing on Ess for a while now as he never misses out any of our performances. Apparently he is waiting for Ess to have a heartbreak so that he can heal the hurt. I envy Ess for this because Aisl has everything I would ever want in a partner.  

"Hey there buddy! yeah sure you can lock it. We were searching some stuffs here but couldn't find it" said Ess in her usual cool tone" 

You guys want to have some coffee? They sell amazing brownies in the cafe outside the Uni, he asked as he turned to us after locking the door. All this time he was talking to Ess as if I wasn't even there. He sure didn't want me to join them for coffee. "It's me whose mouth waters just by thinking about brownies, Ess hates them!" I wanted to tell  but I was invisible to him. 

Maybe later Aisl, we need to be somewhere else now, replied Ess. She is  always this calm and polite while turning guys down. 

Oh! I'll be looking forward to that day, Aisl said earnestly  which made me kind of sad because I would never say no if he asked me personally, not that he would ever. 

As he looked at me to say goodbye, for a brief second our eyes met. I felt as if two galaxies had collided. I could forever look at those honey colored eyes but would he let me? I guess not because now he's smiling at Ess. I should stop watching too many dramas, I thought to myself and glanced away to not let anybody know that I'm completely smitten with him.
